James S. “Jim” Cornell, 51, of Cogan Station, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2019. Surviving is his wife of 30 years, Kelly A. (Young) Cornell. Born Jan. 10, 1968, in Wellsboro, he was a son of Stephen L. Cornell (Wendy), of Middlebury Center, and the late Rose Marie (Cochran) Cornell. Jim was a 1985 graduate of Wellsboro High School and was currently working as a dispatcher for Cream of the Crop Transportation. He was a sports fanatic and enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Mets. He also enjoyed playing golf and was an excellent bowler. Most of all Jim loved and cherished spending time with his wife and children. Surviving in addition to his wife and father are his two children, Jesse J. and Chelsea B. Cornell, both of Cogan Station. In keeping with his wishes there will no services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of donor’s choice.
