James R. Dugan, age 69 of Memphis, TN, died Saturday, June 08, 2019, at his residence. He was born September 06, 1949, in Philadelphia, PA, the son of Robert and Helen (nee Haas) Dugan Jr. Jim was born in Philadelphia, PA and gradated High School at Tom’s River, NJ. During his high school years he worked as a caddy at a golf course in New Jersey. After graduation he started selling insurance in New Jersey, Florida, and Memphis, Tennessee. Jim had many pets that he loved and pampered. He raised Japanese Akita’s. He loved to travel, work and tinker with his car and watch baseball. Survivors include : Mother – Helen K. Dugan nee Haas, Alhambra, IL Sister – Linda H. (Eugene) Bohnenstiehl, Highland, IL Sister – Penny S. Hosto, Alhambra, IL Brother – Brian K. (Barbara) Dugan, Highland, IL Nieces and Nephews – Many . Great Nephews and Nieces – Many . Great Great Nieces & Nephews – Many . Friend – Nancy King, Memphis, TN He was preceded in death by : Father – Robert William Dugan Jr. – Died 6/08/2012 Brother – Richard W. Dugan – Died 10/18/1977 Arrangements are being handled by Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL. Private graveside services and interment will be held at Highland City Cemetery in Highland, IL, with Rev. John Mindrup officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
