James Patrick “Pat” McGhee, passed away May 29, 2019. Born August 4, 1939 in Columbus, Ohio to the late James “Frank” and Charlotte McGhee. He served in the National Guard for 6 years before starting a career as a truck driver. Pat enjoyed bluegrass music/festivals. He loved wood working; building bird houses and furniture. He also had a passion for feeding and watching birds, traveling and camping with his family. Pat is survived by wife of 57 years, Martha; children, Terri (Scott) Angell, James “Tracy” McGhee, Robert F. (Donna) McGhee, and Cathy (John) Lusk; grandchildren, Erin McGhee, Kacie McGhee, Patrick Lusk, Andrea Lusk, Ella McGhee; sisters, Shirley McGhee and Sharon Cornett; other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 2, from 2 pm until 4 pm at O. R. Woodyard South Chapel 1346 S. High St. where funeral service will be held Monday at 1:30 pm.
