James’ Obituary James Archuleta age 73, a longtime resident of Las Vegas, NM has gone to be with our Lord Sunday, June 23, 2019. He was born to Modesto Archuleta and Rafaelita Sandoval on July 21, 1945 in Mora, NM. A Catholic, and member of Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas, NM. James was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He also worked for the New Mexico State Hospital for twenty-six years as a Carpenter. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Dan, Lorenzo, and Charlie Archuleta, sisters, Martha Salazar and Cecilia Archuleta. He is survived by his loving wife: Maxine Archuleta of the family home in Las Vegas, NM; daughter: Catherine Archuleta, sons: Benjie Archuleta, Eugene Archuleta and Ricky Archuleta all of Las Vegas, NM; grandchildren: Tina , Dencia and Unique Archuleta, great-grandchildren: Kalie and Yliana, brother: Leo Archuleta of Albuquerque, NM; sister: Mary Elaine Gallegos (Mike) , sisters-in-law: Theresa Salazar, Viola Martinez (Alex) all of Las Vegas, NM; Patsy Lovato of Pecos, NM; Sylvia Martinez of Albuquerque, NM; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Rosary service will be recited on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 7:00pm. Funeral service will be conducted on Friday, June 28, 2019 at 9:00am with both services to be held at Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas, NM, with Father George V. Salazar as celebrant. The following will serve as casket bearers Kevin Stoddard, Marcial Sena, Santiago Lovato, Leo Archuleta, Mike Gallegos and Daniel Lee Gallegos. Cremation will take place after services and burial of cremains will be held at a later date at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Las Vegas, NM.
