Jake’s Obituary Jacob E. Feger, II, 72, of Mexico, died Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Arnold Funeral Home with burial and military honors to follow at East Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation is Saturday from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Jake was born on March 11, 1947 in Mexico, the son of Jacob E. and Frances L. (Johnson) Feger. He graduated valedictorian of Mexico High School class of 1965. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp, serving in Vietnam from 1967 – 1968, earning a bronze star. Mr. Feger worked as a heavy equipment operator all his life. He enjoyed playing cards and spending time with family. He is survived by two sons, Justin (Sheila) Feger of Mexico and Jason Feger of Mexico; a daughter, Vicki Oligschlaeger of Mexico; seven grandchildren, Bryce, Brady, and Brenna Oligschlaeger, Jacob E. Feger, IV, Jade, Jordyn, and Jessa Feger; and three sisters, Barbara Hycz, Kathy Wilkerson, and Tina George, all of Mexico. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Eddie Feger; and a sister, Judie K. Kilmer. Memorials may be made to the Missouri Veterans Home or the American Cancer Society in care of Arnold Funeral Home. Read More
