A loving and compassionate young girl, ISABELLA RAINA SERNA “IZZY/BELLA,” 11, of Roswell, NM, was greeted in Heaven on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, in Lubbock Texas. SERVICES: Family and friends will gather at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Friday, June 14, 2019, at 10:00 AM. Pastor Laurence Sanchez will officiate. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery. On October 2, 2007, Isabella was born to Rachel Vale and Jerome Serna in Roswell, NM. She loved and cared with everything she had. Isabella cared so deeply about everyone with whom she had contact. She loved dogs and wanted to rescue them all. Her loved ones will dearly miss Isabella’s spirit, smile, and presence. Family and friends will always cherish in their hearts and minds the memories they were blessed to share with Isabella. SURVIVORS: Those left to Honor and Cherish Isabella’s memory are her parents, Rachel Vale and Jerome Serna; brother, Jerome Serna Jr.; sisters: Emiliyah, Allyanna; maternal grandparents, Arthur and Mary Rodriguez; paternal grandmother, Carmen Serna; godparents, Anthony Vale and Karlynne Vale; god siblings: Andrew, Autumn; precious dog Zoey; aunts: Ramona (Frank), Raquel (Michael), Rosemary (Brandon), Ruby (Pablo), Virginia (J.R.); uncles: Albert Rodriguez, Arthur (Christina), Danny Lopez, Greg Alvarado, Juan Chavira, Julian (Kristen), and Troy Gonzales. PRECEDED: Isabella is preceded in death by her brother, Roman Ray Serna; great grandma’s: Julia Vale, Evangeline Serna; and loving dog, Harley Quinzel Serna. PALLBEARERS: Those honored to serve as Pallbearers are Anthony Vale, Chris (kiki) Vale, Ezra Chavira, Freddy Palomino, Gabriel Lopez, and Jerome Serna Jr. HONORARY PALLBEARERS: Chosen to serve as Honorary Pallbearers are Isabella’s Bambina family, Total Khaos & RGSA family, her Little Lambs family, all of her friends, aunts, uncles, and cousins. One Day at a Time You lived your life one day at a time. The words you shared were always kind. You loved us all with your whole heart. It saddens us to be apart. Forever we hold you in our hearts. Today you stand in God’s bright light, watching over us day and night. In our hearts you will remain, until the day we meet again… Forever your love will live on in our hearts and the hearts of those you touched.
