Irene’s Obituary Irene Yarrish Harcharik, 96, formerly of Passaic, passed away on June 7, 2019. Born in Lee, PA, she lived in Mocanaqua, PA, and Passaic for over 30 years, before moving to the Poconos in 1979. A former parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, Irene was a member of the Leisure Club and the SJK Rosary Society. A parishioner of Our Lady of Victory RC Church, Tannersville, PA, Irene ran trips for the church as well as for Hospice of Monroe County. Before retiring in 1977, Irene was an Electronics Assembler and Supervisor for Adec, Inc., Fairfield for many years. Devoted wife of the late John M. Yarrish who passed away in 1954, and the late Edward L. Harcharik who passed away in 1994. Beloved mother of Joyce Yarrish Kotz of Clifton, and the late Joseph Yarrish who passed away in 1958. Loving grandmother of Jason Kotz and his wife Stacey of Clifton, and Joshua Kotz and his fiancee Katelyn of Clifton. Dear sister of the late Mary and Anna Kobosko, Michael, George, John, Joseph and Paul Evan, Sue Wido, Pauline Klem, and Helen Lukaszewski. Cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visiting Tuesday 9-10:30 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Mass of Christian Burial, Tuesday 11 AM, St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton.
