“We have known you, lived with you and loved you. Now we are here and you are gone. We cannot follow until we have finished all of our days.” Hector L. Ortiz-Camacho was born October 28, 1974 in Humacao, Puerto Rico to Lisandra C. Ortiz and Hector M. Ortiz. Hector spent his childhood and teen years as an ARMY brat moving to different countries and the USA. He attended college at the University of Louisville, and Anchorage Alaska University. He was a member of Sigmachi Fraternity of Louisville, KY. His interests included family, youth ministry, Bible studies, tennis, enjoying the outdoors, and fishing. Hector is survived by his parents Lisandra C. Ortiz and Hector M. Ortiz, his sister Lizzie Ortiz-Camacho, his wife Aan Ortiz, children Alethea Marie Ortiz-lierman, Step-son’s Darnell J. Harrison, Christian T. Napoleon, adopted daughter, Brittany Ortiz, his many Aunties, Uncles, and Counsins. Hector was dearly loved by his extended family from all over Alaska and too many to name. Hector was preceded in death by his son Spencer Keegan Ortiz-Lierman, his grand parents Eulalio Camacho-Hernandez, Flora Marcano, Genara Cabrera, and Epifanio Ortiz.
