Obituary of Harold John Chilson Harold John Chilson, 62, of Sayre, PA passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at Robert Packer Hospital following an extended illness. He was born on March 14, 1957 in Towanda, PA, the son of the late James and Anna Mae (Kelley) Chilson. Harold was a graduate of Athens High School and also attended Penn State College. He was a Veteran of the US Army. Harold resided at Keystone Manor and served as the Recreational Director. Harold was a dedicated volunteer delivering Meals on Wheels and at Sayre House. He enjoyed watching TV, playing cards, especially poker, golfing, and tennis. He was a member of the American Legion Post #246 and the Disabled American Veterans. He is predeceased by his brothers William, James, Michael, and David Chilson, brother and sister-in-law Donald and Wilma Chilson, and his niece Carey Ellis Cairns. Harold is survived by his daughter Jamie Heath of Summerfield, FL, brother and sister-in-law Paul Lee and Beverly Chilson of Monroeton, PA, sister Anna Mae Ellis of Summerfield, FL, sisters-in-law Linda Chilson of Watkins Glen, NY, Yvonne Valdez of Sayre, PA, and Hazel Northrup of FL, special niece and nephew Yvonne Johnson and Robert Chilson and many other nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 11am at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc, 225 South Main St., Athens, PA with the Rev. Linda Rogers officiating.
