Obituary GWENDOLYN “MARY ALICE” HUMPHREY, 80, of Springfield, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday evening, June 11, 2019. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama on August 27, 1938, the daughter of the late Kennard and Willa Mae (Hill) Stanford. Mary Alice owned and operated Gwendolyn’s Beauty Salon for over 50 years.
