She was born on June 15, 1941 to the late Salmon and Arcenia (Sandoval) Salazar in Wagon Mound, NM. Gloria is also preceded in death by her grandsons, James D. Gallegos and Benjamin A. Gallegos. Gloria is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 60 years, Laudente Gallegos Sr. of Moriarty, NM; sons, Laudente Gallegos Jr. and wife Debbie of Woodburn, OR, Ron Gallegos and wife Diane of Albuquerque, NM, Arnie Gallegos and wife Belinda of Albuquerque, NM and David Gallegos and wife Vickie of Durango, CO; daughter, Robin Aragon and husband James of Moriarty, NM; brother, Salmon Leo Salazar and sister, Estelle Montoya. Gloria was blessed with 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and one on the way. Gloria was a long time member of Crossroads Bible Fellowship in Moriarty and retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield of NM. She enjoyed keeping score at her children and grandchildren’s ball games, word searches, embroidery, counting Fed Ex trucks on the highway, playing bingo and slots. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and aunt and will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service and celebration of life is scheduled for Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Crossroads Bible Fellowship in Moriarty, NM., Pastor Gale Holt will Officiate, reception to follow service.
