Gertrude F. Gerlach of Percy, Illinois March 26, 1926 – June 26, 2019 PERCY, Gertrude F. Gerlach, 93, of Percy, passed away at 11:30 PM Wednesday, June 26, 2019, at Coulterville Care Center in Coulterville, Illinois. She was born March 26, 1926 in Perry County, Illinois the daughter of Ralph and Stella (Higgerson) Firth. Gertie married Harold A. Gerlach on July 15, 1945 in Campbell Hill, IL. He passed away on March 7, 2009. Gertie was a homemaker and a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Campbell Hill. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Lucille Misselhorn of Campbell Hill; a brother-in-law, Roy Gerlach of Oak Brook Terrace, IL; 2 step sisters, Marla Burge of Fairview Heights, IL and Merideth Walters of Bloomington, IL; a half sister, Nita Alms of Steeleville, IL and Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews and Great Great Nieces and Nephews. Gertie is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harold, 2 brothers, Raymond Bigham and Eugene Bigham and 2 sisters, Mary Gerlach and Glida Bollmann. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 11:00 AM in St. Luke’s Lutheran Church Campbell Hill, Illinois with Minister Deb Rathert officiating. Burial will follow at St. Luke’s Cemetery, Campbell Hill, IL. Visitation will be at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Memorials may be made to St. Luke’s Lutheran Church.
