Geraldine’s obituary On May 22, 2019 Geraldine “Jerri” M. Hagan passed away at the age of 83 after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s Disease. A native of Fennville, Michigan, she was born to Margaret Augusta Kremmin and Joseph John Erlewein in 1936. She had five siblings: Joseph Jr., William Kremmin, Robert Lawrence, Larry John, and Patricia Anne Erlewein. At the age of 17, she moved to St. Louis to pursue her career and never left. She was married to Norman Hagan and they had a Daughter, Lynn Marie Hagan. Before being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, Jerri was active with the Holy Trinity Church in St. Ann, an avid dog lover, and in her retirement she helped to raise her three grandchildren; Melissa, David and Jonathan Sabin. She touched those around her in so many different ways. Above all she will be remembered as being fiercely independent, committed to family, energetic and tireless in her ways, and smart as a whip. She was, in her own way, an inspiration to those around her and proof that life doesn’t end at retirement. She will be missed but not forgotten. As Jerri is now reunited in heaven with her beloved boxers, Star and Mandy, the family has asked that if anyone would like to honor her memory that a contribution be made to Midwest Boxer Rescue: www.midwestboxerrescue…. Please include her name “Geraldine Hagan” in the Tribute box. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Geraldine “Jerri” Hagen please visit our Sympathy Store.
