George J. Garcia known for his sense of humor and story telling left this earth on June 10, 2019. He was born on July 3, 1936, in Monte Vista CO., later his family moved to Ogden, UT. He married Manuelita Vigil on December 1, 1956. He is survived by his three children; son Sam Garcia (Lisa) of CO., Ann Garcia Bryne of AZ., and David Garcia (Lori) of Syracuse, UT. Also surviving is brother Lee Padilla (Madge), sisters Emma Gallegos, and Linda Valdez. He is preceded in death by his sister Stella Sosa and brother Frank Padilla. His proudest accomplishment was being one of the original founders and main chef at The El Burrito Restaurant in Clearfield, UT. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 20, 2019, at the St. Josephs Church 514 24th St. Ogden, UT.
