George Denton Travis, 76, of Smiths Station, AL passed away late Saturday evening, June 8, 2019 at the Bethany Hospice House in Auburn, AL while surrounded by his loving family. A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm EST on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City. His loving family will hold a private interment ceremony at nearer future date. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service on Saturday at the funeral home in Phenix City. His loving family will have an updated obituary soon, thank you for your understanding, respectfully, the Travis family
