George Arthur Tully Born in Orange, Texas, on October 12, 1950, he was the son of Jack H. Tully and Ruth (Freeman) Tully. George graduated from Stark High School then joined the United States Air Force where he served in Vietnam, Thailand and Turkey obtaining the rank of Sergeant. He loved to fish and was involved in sports from playing to coaching his boys. George loved to be involved in church activities where he could spread the Gospel to any and everyone. Even outside of church, George love to talk about Jesus to anyone who would listen. George was a strong believer in Jesus Christ. He was a strong man who was a terrific husband, father, son, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, brother and friend who simply loved his family and people. His contagious smile and laugh would flood people with joy. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. George was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Ruth Tully; sisters Kathy Turner, Angela Tully, Betty Credeur; his brother, Collins Tully and one grandson George is survived by his loving and caring wife of 47 years, Gail Tully; son Shawn Tully and wife Caroline, grandchildren Kaeli Sardos and husband Jesse, Jade Garrard, Meredith Tacket, Cameron Lynch, and Hollie Ann Lynch; son Matt Tully and wife Wendi, grandchildren Aislyn and Blaise Tully; and 2 great grandchildren with one on the way! brother Jack D.
