George A. Merino surrounded by his family entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 1, at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center, Englewood, NJ. Of Fort Lee, he was born in Havana, Cuba to his late parents Amado and Zoila (Oquendo) Merino. He is survived his loving siblings Elsa Merino, Antonio Alfredo Merino and his wife Elisa, and Candelaria Espinosa and her husband Felix. His many nieces and nephews Armando, Patricia, Zoila, Ana, Jacqueline, Alfredo, Caridad, Yesse, David, Barbara, Aleida, Amelia, and Alicia. His cousins Terry, Zuleyda, Miguelito and Ricky. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, June 4th, 2019, 4 – 9 pm, at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday, June 5th, at Parish of St. John Paul II, Bayonne, NJ. Time to be determined. Interment to follow at Alpine Cemetery, Perth Amboy, NJ.
