Franklin Henry Brawn, Jr. November 24, 1931 – June 05, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Memorial Donation PALMYRA & RIPLEY – Franklin Brawn,Jr., 87, died June 5, 2019 at his son’s residence in Beekmantown, NY. He was born November 24, 1931 in Carmel, a son of Franklin and Belva (Lane) Brawn, Sr. He was a Korean War veteran having served as a deep sea diver for the Navy. He worked as a machinist for 25 years and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Franklin loved to tell stories. He is survived by his wife, Florence (Sevey) Brawn of 66 years; 3 sons, Galen of Ripley, Glenn of Beekmantown, NY, and Darryl of Madawaska; 2 daughters, Sandra Brawn of Waterville, Sharon and husband Roger Card of Fairfield; 14 grandchildren; 21 great great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Lorraine Kitchin and 2 sisters Annie Weeks and Bertina Hartley. There will be no services at this time. Burial will be in the Morses Corner Cemetery, Corinna, at a later date. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport.
