Francis C. “Cap” March, IV, 55, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at home. Born Tuesday, March 24, 1964 in Quakertown, PA, he was the son of the late Francis C. March, III and Elizabeth Hammacher, wife of Everett Hammacher of Harrisburg. Cap was a 1983 graduate of Manheim Central High School, and Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. He was most recently employed by Perdue in Bainbridge, where he worked in shipping and receiving. A carpenter by trade, he was a skilled handyman to many friends and family members. Cap was a model train enthusiast and also enjoyed all types of music. He was an active volunteer with the Marietta Fireworks, was an avid Green Bay Packers fan, and always had a joke to tell. He will be missed by all who knew him. Surviving in addition to his mother Elizabeth and step-father Everett, are a son Francis C. “CJ” March, V, of Manheim; a sister Lisa F. Billingham and her husband Richard J., Jr. of Middletown and his very close friend Kimberly A. Bradley of Mount Joy. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at the First Church of God, 144 South Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022. A time for food and fellowship will follow. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Cap’s name may be made to Children with Hair Loss at www.childrenwithhairloss.usor to Teen Challenge at www.paatc.org. Arrangements entrusted to Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Elizabethtown.
