Floyd Ray Pearson, Sr., 79, of Kansas City, Ks., passed away June 2, 2019, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Margaret Pearson, two brothers, Carl and Donald, and his sister Maryanne Mayhew. He is survived by his wife or 50 years, Gloria. His three sons, Floyd, Jr., Jeffrey, Jason, and daughter, Jennifer Stearns. Six grandchildren, D.J. and Dalton Stearns, Magan and Madelyn Pearson, Kimberly (Luis) Diaz, and Jessica (Ryan) King. Ten great grandchildren. His brother, Roy (Norma) Pearson. He loved being an uncle to his many nephews and nieces. Floyd was employed by Sealright Co. for 30 years, and then worked at Argosy Casino until he retired. A Celebration Of Life memorial will be held at The Grinter House Barn, 1420 S. 78th St., Kansas City, Ks., on Sunday, June 9, 2019, from 5:30 to 9:00.
