Felicita’s Obituary Felicita Lopez Melendez passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday June 7, 2019. Born on June 18, 1923 to Asuncion Rosario and Juan Lopez in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico in a small town called Florida near the rain forest . She was one of 13 siblings. Married to Rafael Melendez for 50 years, a lifer in the Armed Forces in her early twenties. She was a loving and dedicated military wife and mother of three. Felicita’s greatest joy came from loving and serving others, especially her family. Her passions included cooking, gardening, singing, and serving the Lord. A woman of God who was a perfect example of God’s love and grace in action. She is survived by and will be greatly missed by her 3 children Rafael Melendez, Edith White and Vilma Rivera. She will also be missed dearly by her 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing and Funeral on Thursday, June 13, 2019 from 10:00 am-10:45 am at the FLUEHR FUNERAL HOME 864 Bristol Pk. ( Rt. 13) Bensalem, Pa. 19020.
