Mrs. Emmer Gean Hankins, age 88 of Summerville, GA passed away Sunday- June 16, 2019 at Oakview Nursing and Rehab. Mrs. Hankins was born November 4, 1931, in Henagar, AL, the daughter of Paul J. & Alter M. Hicks, she was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Cleburn Davis, 2nd husband, James Harold Hankins, sons; Gerald Davis, Danny Ray Davis, Rickey Paul Hankins; great-ganddaughter, Destiny Kling; two brothers, and two sisters. Mrs. Hankins was a homemaker and a member of the Pennville Gospel Tabernacle. Survivors include her sons, Clinton Davis, Richard Hankins, Scottie Hankins; 13 Grandchildren, and 22 Great Grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, June 20, 2019, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Barry Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Greenhills Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers will be, Daniel Hankins, B.J. Hankins, Chris Davis. Mrs. Hankins will lie in-state at the Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday June 19, 2019.
