Eleanor C. Truett, 92, died Tuesday, June 18, 2019. Graveside services will be held Friday, June 21, 1019 at 11 AM at Grove Hill Cemetery in Darlington directed by Kistler-Hardee Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Kistler-Hardee Funeral Home. Mrs. Truett was born in Richland County. She was the daughter of the late James R. and Rosa G. Cason. She was a member of Darlington First Baptist Church for 75 years. She retired from Pee Dee Cooperative Electric Company. She is survived by her son, Edwin M. “Eddie” Truett and his fiancé, Crystal B. Ford; two grandsons, Austin M. Truett and Andrew K. Truett She is predeceased by her husband, Edwin M. “Buddy” Truett; brothers Milton R. Cason and Furman G. Cason. Memorials are suggested to The Darlington County Humane Society, PO Box 1655 Hartsville, SC 29550 The family wishes to thank Cheryl Graham, Mary Davis, and the entire staff at Elmcroft for the wonderful care they provided to Mrs. Truett.
