Elder Vernon Ellerbee departed this life June 9, 2019 at his residence. A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 1pm at St Matthews AME Zion Church in Maxton NC. Interment will follow in the Mt Olive Baptist Church Cemetery in Rowland, NC. . The family is receiving friends at 9799 Hwy 501, Maxton, NC.
