Eddie Leon Miller, Sr., 81, passed away at home on June 14, 2019. A funeral service will be held at Harvey Funeral Chapel on Monday, June 17, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Parrott City Cemetery. Rev. Allen Carmichael will officiate. Mr. Miller was born August 6, 1937 in Terrell County, Georgia. He was the Meat Market Manager for Colonial Store and Big Star Market. He was a member of the Graves United Methodist Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on the farm. Preceding him in death were his parents, Dennis L. Miller and Lucille Hasty Miller; brothers, Glenton Miller and Carroll K. Miller; sister, Barbara Story and daughter-in-law, Carla Miller. Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Flournoy Miller; son, Eddie Leon Miller, Jr. and his family, including wife Talitha and children, Natalie and Cali; daughter, Renee’ Miller Smith and her husband, Rusty and children, Josh, Jake and Marley; and sisters, Brenda Dunham and Becky Dowdy. Memorials may be made to your favorite cancer or wildlife charity.
