Dorothy McKay, 90, of Wayne, PA, formally of Brilliant, OH, passed away Sunday Morning, June 2, 2019, in Newtown Square, PA. She was born March 8, 1929, in Mingo Junction, OH , a daughter of the late Milam & Sarah Munis Jakovich. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey McKay, on Oct. 19, 2008, and a brother, Robert E. Jakovich. Dorothy was a graduate of Mingo High School and the Steubenville Business College. She was a Homemaker, and Member of the Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Church, Steubenville, OH. Surviving are two sons, Dewey R McKay and his wife, Patricia, of Villanova, PA and Larry McKay and his wife, Jane, of Wayne, PA, a brother, George Jakovich and his wife Doreen, of West Palm Beach, FL, and two grandchildren Sarah Patricia McKay , of Villanova, PA, and David Dewey McKay, also of Villanova, PA. Friends received at the Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Church, 528 N. Fourth St., Steubenville, on Friday, from 1:00 until time of Divine Liturgy Services, at 2:00, with Rev. Fr. Stefan Doric, officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville, OH. .
