Donald “Nick” Patton, Sr. passed away peacefully Friday June 14, 2019 surrounded by his loving family at Center for Hope Hospice, Scotch Plains. He was born and resided in Larksville, PA before moving to Colonia 60 years ago.He worked in the maintenance department at Elizabeth General Hospital in Elizabeth. He was a member of the Woodbridge Township American Irish Association, a bowler at Woodbridge Lanes and a member of the Evergreen Senior Citizens. He loved going to the lake and was devoted to his family and they always came first. He was predeceased by his parents Robert and Rose Patton, his brothers Robert and John Patton and his sister Marion. McGeehan. Surviving are his wife of 62 years Rita Patton, his children Donald P Patton, Jr. and his wife Susan, Robert Patton and his wife Toni, Carol Patton, Michael Patton and his wife Mary Alice. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren Donald, Susan, Elizabeth, Katherine, Nicholas, Pamela, Madison, his greatgrandchildren Connor and Gianna also his 2 sisters Rose Pickett and Joan Hoffman and his brother Joseph Patton. Visitation Monday June 17, 2019 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road Edison, Funeral Services Tuesday June 18, 2019 at 9:30am at the funeral home followed by a 10:45am Mass at St John Vianney RC Church Colonia, Interment will be private at St Vincent Cemetery, Larksville, PA.
