Destry Dwayne Tucker, 60, passed away unexpectedly in his Roswell home early Thursday morning, May 30, 2019, with his wife, Bobbi, by his side. SERVICES: A small Memorial Service for family and close friends will be held at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at 3:00 PM. Destry “Des” was born to Harold and Marie Tucker on December 27, 1958, in Roswell, New Mexico. He was a loving and devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He was a great dad, but an amazing grandfather. The grandchildren always loved going to “Papa” and Bobbi’s house to play with their animals, gather eggs, and of course, play in the sandbox Papa and Bobbi made for them. Des would push the kids on the swingset for hours, or until something else caught their eye, and then they were all off on their next adventure. SURVIVORS: Des is survived by his wife, Bobbi; son, Destry Tucker and wife Heather, their children: Abby, Brittany, Gianna, and “little” Destry; son, Justin Tucker and wife Ashlee, their children: Sean and Maggie; daughter, Kenda Harris, her daughter, Blakeley; and great-granddaughter, Leilani. His grandchildren and animals were the light of Destry’s life. PRECEDED: Des was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Tucker.
