Dennis’ Obituary Dennis H. Peters son of Walter and Marie (Endorf) Peters was born October 16, 1943 in Steele City, Nebraska. Dennis was raised in the Palmer community, attended St. John’s Lutheran School and graduated from the Linn High School in 1961. He attended Capital City Barber College. Dennis married Carolyn Combes on June 20, 1965. They made their home in Clifton where Dennis started his barber career. Dennis and Carolyn moved to Palmer in 1977. He barbered and operated Peters Oil after his father passed. He later expanded and operated Peters Country Mart in Linn and was still barbering just before his passing. Dennis was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, The Lutheran’s Mens Club, Booster Club and served as a volunteer firefighter for Palmer and Clifton. Dennis restarted the T-Ball team in Palmer and coached for several years. He was preceded in death by his parents.
