Denise Irene England Shields, age 58, of Dandridge, passed away Monday, June 3, 2019 at her residence after a lingering illness, surrounded by her family. Denise was an officer with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department until January when her declining health took her job away. Denise leaves behind a son, Travis Shields; grandson, Gage Shields; loving parents, Cliff and Bunny England; brothers, Jim, Tim, and Scott England; and special friend, Beverly Stroupe. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Gordon and Irene Jenkins and Roscoe and Pauline England. Special thanks to Smoky Mountain Home Health and Hospice, a loving thanks to her private care-givers, friend, Patricia Gilbert, and her brother, Scott. No services will be scheduled. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
