Obituary DANIEL W. BARBER, 70, of Springfield, passed away peacefully at Hospice of Dayton, surrounded by his family on Tuesday afternoon, June 18, 2019. He was born in Springfield on November 6, 1948, the son of the late Gus and Beulah (Rockfield) Barber. Dan proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War having been stationed in Korea. He retired as a metallurgist from Heat Treating Inc. following 37 years of service.
