Cynthia “Cindy” Ann Bewley, age 63, of Indianapolis, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2019. She was born on December 16, 1955 in Beech Grove, Indiana to the late Harold Joe and Jean Earlene (Foxx) Smith. Cindy was a graduate of Southport High School, class of 1974. She managed the Waverly Store #55, Circle K for the past 10 years. When not working, she loved to fish and work in her garden. Survivors include her children, Jim D. Bewley II and Melissa J. Smelser; long-time companion, Jesse “J.D.” Powell and his son, Scott; brother, Dave Smith (Mary); and grandchildren, Cordelia Fae Smelser and Emersyn Rose. Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 from 12 noon to 2 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St., with a service celebrating her life at 2 p.m. Burial will follow services in Round Hill Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at www.lauckfuneralhome.com.
