CORABEL L. DEWITT November 02, 1913 – June 18, 2019 Share this obituary View/Sign Guest Book Corabel L. Dewitt, 105, of Maple Park, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at her home. She was born November 2, 1913, in Champaign, Illinois the daughter of Samuel Lewis and Clara Belle (Locke) Lowman. Corabel married Dr. Truman G. Dewitt on June 6, 1936. She is survived by her niece, Patricia A. D’Errico of Frankfort; three great nieces, Lynney (Ronald) Messina of Gainesville, Georgia, Shawn (Anton) Halloran of Schererville, Indiana, Wendy Loman of Streator; two great-great nieces, Ariel and Samantha; and two great-great nephews, Charlie and Hank. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Truman G. Dewitt; her brother, John Lowman; and great-nephew, James D’Errico. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 29, at Maple Park United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Joseph Munro officiating. Burial of cremated remains will be at a later date at Mount Hope Cemetery in Champaigne. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Corabel L.
