Constance “Connie” A. Miller, 77, of Bedford, PA , died at 1:14 AM, Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Pennknoll Village, Everett. Ms. Miller was born in Huntingdon, PA on March 16, 1942, daughter of the late Robert A. and Dorothy D. (Diehl) Miller. She is survived by Cousins- Edwin Banta, Kinnelon, NJ; Andrew Banta, Fort Bragg; CA; Mary Whittemore, Simi Valley,CA; Sue Rhoades, Tyrone; and Valerie Bates, Tyrone. Connie’s career spanned several decades, and she was highly regarded as a Secretary/Administrative Assistant. She was extremely conscientious and took great pride in her work. She held positions in Washington D.C. with the government, and in Willow Grove, PA at Gloria Dei Church before returning “home” to Bedford where she began working at Hedstrom. She later worked and retired from Center for Community Services, Bedford. Ms. Miller was a member of St. Johns UCC where she was a former Deacon. Connie was a life member of American Music Association and also a former member of Rainbow Girls. A Celebration of Connie’s Life will be held at 10:00AM on June 29, 2019 at Geisel Funeral Home, followed by a graveside interment of her ashes at Hyndman Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Constance “Connie” Miller to Hospice Home Nursing, 201 Chestnut Ave, Altoona, PA 16601 or St. Johns UCC, 144 West John Street, Bedford, PA 15522.
