Clara Harp, age 90 of Nixa, died Wednesday, June 26, 2019. She was born January 12, 1929 in Nixa, the daughter of Webster and Florence (Cain) Ball. On July 9, 1949, Clara was united in marriage to Rex Harp. Clara was a member of First Baptist Nixa. She was a homemaker and greatly enjoyed spending time with her family, reading and being outdoors. Survivors include: her daughter, Ronda Thompson and husband Wayne, Nixa; grandchildren, Jeff Thompson and wife Amber, Justin Thompson and wife Beth, and Christy Sherer and husband David; great grandchildren, Connor, Trenton, Kaitlynn, Bailey and Taylor Thompson and Dawson, Chalice and Skylea Sherer. Clara was preceded in death by her husband Rex in 1994; her son, Rick Harp; her brothers and sisters; and her parents. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. Burial will follow in Glenn Cemetery.
