Cheryl L. Brown, 70, of Urbana passed away at 2:38 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2019. Cheryl was born on November 26, 1948 in Urbana. She was the daughter of James Hollingsworth and Helen (Swearingen) Marshall, both whom have passed. She was proceeded in death by her husband, James E Brown and brother, Ralph Poore. She is survived by her daughter, Debra L. Brown of Urbana, brothers Stephen Poore of Lebanon, IN, Glenn Marshall of Urbana, and sister, Beth Truscelli of Fairmount. She is also survived by five nieces, four nephews, and many great nephews and great nieces. Cheryl graduated from Urbana High School and was employed at Caterpillar Logistics until her retirement. Besides being retired, she loved being able to help out animals from shelters and has adopted several over the years. She also enjoyed taking trips to Vegas, being outside and being around family. She loved watching sports and was a huge Chicago Bulls fan. There will be no services. Condolences may be offered at www.renner-wikoffchapel.com
