Cheryl’s Obituary Cheryl Ann Seymour, 70, of Blanco, Texas passed away, abruptly, Wednesday, April 17th, 2019. She was born to the late Fannie Maude (Maples) Spencer and Charles Franklin Spencer, on September 23, 1948, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Cheryl graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in San Antonio. She attended college classes in accounting and worked many years in corporate accounting, spending the majority of those years at Church’s Fried Chicken, and related merged companies where she made many life-long friends. Ultimately, she passed on a job offer from Deloitte&Touche outside of Texas in order to stay here in Blanco. More recently, she worked for Cox Paving and Security State Bank & Trust in order to diminish her commute and spend more time with her husband David Glenn Seymour, who she has joined in passing, along with her brothers Curtis and Jimmy Spencer. She is survived by her two sons Blake and Robert, their wives Danitza and Tara, respectively, Tara’s three daughters: Adelyn, Catherine, and Caroline; and innumerable other family and friends. Although, through the years, Cheryl and David traveled the country sight-seeing; visiting the Grand Canyon, Native American landmarks and reservations, Civil War memorials, and any other wonders that caught their interest, many of the people of Blanco would recognize her right here at home at her granddaughters’ ball games, home or away, for which she lived. She will be missed at those games and in our lives. Services will be held Saturday, April 27th, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 703 Main Street, Blanco, Texas. Services will begin at 10:00 AM, at the church, followed by graveside service at Blanco Cemetery at the corner of Chandler Street and Callahan Street, in Blanco, Texas. Read More
