Services for Charles Flowers, Sr. will be held Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at 10 AM at the Bridge Church of God in Ochlocknee. Pastor Jerry Rewis will officiate. Mr. Flowers passed away June 28, 2019 at his residence. Born May 19, 1942, he was the son of the late Charles Jesse Flowers and Marie Elizabeth Searcy Flowers. After serving in the Navy, Mr. Flowers went on to be a mechanic. He was also a member of the Bridge Church of God in Ochlocknee. Mr. Flowers is survived by his wife, Nelda Ann Cook Flowers; brother Randall Flowers of Acworth, GA; children Donna Lynn Flowers of Coolidge, GA, Cynthia Leigh Flowers of Nevarre, FL, Charles Richard Flowers, Jr. (Tiffney) of McDonough, GA and Hope Elizabeth Tew (Jason) of Eatonton, GA; grandchildren Lewis Cross (Caitlin), Cathy Brocki (Michal), Emily Harvey (Ed), Jessica Flowers, Reese Flowers, Laura Cliff, Cari Tew, Ashlyn Tew, Eli Hinton Isaiah Tew, GeorgiaGrace Tew, SavannahRose Tew, Zachary Tew and 10 great grandchildren. Mr. Flowers was preceded in death by his parents. Family will receive friends for a visitation Monday, July 1, 2019 from 5 to 7 PM at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
