Catherine “Cathy” Alice Schatz, of Aberdeen, passed away on her 81st birthday, Thursday, June 20, 2019, at Avera St. Luke’s Hospital in Aberdeen. Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 27, 2019, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 409 3rd Avenue SE, Aberdeen, with Father Patrick Grode and Father David Janes con-celebrating. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Schriver’s Memorial Mortuary and Crematory, 414 5th Avenue NW, Aberdeen, is in charge of arrangements. Family and friends may sign Cathy’s online guestbook and also view her service via the live stream service link at www.schriversmemorial.com. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, at the mortuary, with a Rosary being said at 6:30 p.m. and a Liturgical Wake Service beginning at 7:00 p.m. Visitation continues one hour prior to Mass at the church on Thursday.
