Carolyn Elaine Egbert Teubel, 66, of Bloomfield, Iowa passed away on June 4, 2019 surrounded by family at the Golden Age Care Center in Centerville, Iowa. She was born January 1, 1953 in Corydon, Iowa to Henry and Bernice Blevins Egbert. She married Dennis R. Teubel on October 2, 1987. He passed away on November 9, 1994. Carolyn graduated from Davis County High School in 1971 and from Indian Hills as an LPN in 1972. She worked as an LPN for 42 years at the Bloomfield Care Center and the Long Term Care Unit at the Davis County Hospital, retiring in 2013. She enjoyed playing pitch and spending time with family, especially her favorite nieces and nephews. She was a member of the West Grove United Methodist Church. She Is survived by a daughter, Holly Teubel of Bloomfield; three sisters, Karen (Kenny) Bulechek of West Grove, Karmen Underwood-Hill of Kirksville, Missouri, Sharon Lippert of Bloomfield; mother-in-law, Wilma Teubel of Bloomfield; brothers-and-sisters-in-law, Paul (Charlotte) Teubel, Janice (Bob) Johnson, Donna (Bob) Manz, Nancy Teubel, Ken Teubel, Sally (Shane) Santi; and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Eric Teubel; brother, Duane Egbert; father-in-law, Richard Teubel; and brothers-in-law, Paul Underwood and Terrell Hill. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 10, 2019 at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Pastors Shari Squires and Rick Rigney officiating. Burial will be at the Pulaski Cemetery in Pulaski, Iowa. Visitation will begin at noon on Sunday with the family present to greet friends from 2-4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
