Carole L. Yeater, 77, of Reynolds, passed away Friday, June 14, 2019 at Mercer Manor, Aledo. Funeral service will be 10:00 am on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Reynolds. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hamlet Cemetery, Hamlet. Memorials may be made to the Reynold’s Fire Protection District or to the Andalusia Volunteer Ambulance. Carole was born on May 27, 1942 in Rock Island, the daughter of Albert and Virginia (Benson) Bledsoe. She married Kenneth Yeater on February 2, 1963 in Rock Island. Carole retired as a meal site manager for Project Now in Edgington and Reynolds. She loved her garden, flowers, and doing crafts. Carole is survived by her husband, Kenneth Yeater, Reynolds; son, Keith (Cathy) Yeater, Rock Island; daughter, Cheryl (Kris) Crosby, Waseca, MN; grandchildren, Kevin and Amelia Yeater and Ethan and Elias Crosby; and brother, Roger Bledsoe, Aledo. She was preceded in death by her parents.
