Carl Joseph Manno, 81, of Decatur, MI, passed away Tuesday June 25, 2019 at his home. He was born August 31, 1937 in San Giovanni Gemini, Sicily, the son of Salvatore Manno and Rosalie (Scibetta) Manno. Carl was employed for many years with Navistar (International Harvester) and following his employment, he went on to a successful career selling semi trucks. Carl was united in marriage to Patricia Rohan on April 27, 1963 who survives. He is also survived by his two daughters, Catherine (Chris) Sawyer and Cheryl (Dieter) Multhopp; son, Douglas (Trina) Manno; six grandchildren, Joseph Denenberg, Marina Denenberg, Michaela Cruz, Serafina Cruz, Ivy Manno and Ilsa Manno; two nieces, Chris (Peter) Marino and Theresa (Bob) Clark. Carl was preceded in death by his nephew, Peter (Lori) Manno, two brothers, Jonny Manno and Peter Manno. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 30, 2019, beginning at 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm, at the Adams Funeral Home, 502 West Michigan Ave, Paw Paw, where a celebration of life will commence at 5:00 pm. Interment will follow on Monday at 12:30 pm (Chicago) at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to the Saint Jude Children’s Hospital.
