Bobby Joe’s Obituary Marion, VA Bobby Joe Alley, age 55 went home on Wednesday June 19, 2019. Bobby was born in Marion, VA and was preceded in death by his sons Austin Alley and Dustin Alley; his mother Carol Pierce and stepmother Francis Smith. Bobby worked at Houston Peter Built and was an avid NASCAR fan. Bobby enjoyed fishing, his morning coffee and newspaper. He was a good man and had a heart of gold. Survivors include his sons Justin Alley and wife Scenquenual of Lufkin, TX, Nolan Alley and Natelie Guinta of Syracuse, NY; daughter Carolyn Miller of Marion, VA; father Ed Alley of Marion, VA; brothers Ben Alley of Spring Branch, TX, Eddie Alley of Addison, TX, Able Alley and wife Brenda of Marion, VA, sisters Cindy Poe and Randy Harris of Marion, VA, Donna Wood and husband Dave of Baltimore, MD, April Troxel of Marion, Ava Mitchell and husband Jason of Marion, VA; grandchildren Kia and Kyra Alley of Lufkin, TX. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Saturday June 22, 2019 at Rose Lawn Cemetery with Pastor Paul Shallenburg officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.bradleysfh.com.
