Bobby Carlton Ward of Smithfield July 23, 1934 – June 22, 2019 Selma – Bobby Carlton Ward, age 84, passed away Saturday June 22, 2019 at Barbour Court. Born July 23, 1934 in Johnston County to the late Garcie and Cora Polston Ward. In addition to his parents Mr. Ward is also preceded in death by Brothers, Clayton, Charles, Earl and Cecil Ward; Sister, Elizabeth Branch. He is survived by brothers, Ray Ward and wife Jean of Apex, Larry Ward, Howard Ward and wife Martha of Star; Sister, Lois Elmore and husband Ottis of Dunn. Mr. Ward was a member of Jubilee church in Selma and enjoyed roller skating, spending time with children, going to church, and watching trains.
