Billy “Bill” Wright, 61, of Grand Island passed away on Friday, June 14, 2019. Memorial service and celebration of Bill’s life will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at All Faiths Funeral Home. Family would appreciate those attending wearing their casual and/or Husker attire. Bill was born June 13, 1958, at Mullen, NE, the son of Tilbert and Marjorie (King) Wright. He graduated from Mullen High School, class of 1976. A true MacGyver, Bill could take on any task. He loved the outdoors, including camping, fishing and hunting. Above all he cherished his beloved grandchildren. Those who will cherish his memory include his son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Jennie Wright of Grand Island and their children, Lexi and Luke; the mother of his son, Robyn Wright of Grand Island; and sisters, Annette (Bob) Winberg of Texas and Diane Steinbrink (Mike Reed) of Bellevue, NE; and he was Uncle Bill to ALL. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Valerie Smith and brother, Jimmy Wright. Online remembrances may be left at www.giallfaiths.com.
