Betty Constance Gardner, 77 of Stonewood passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Salem Center. She was born May 22, 1942 in Baltimore, MD, daughter of the late Robert Lee and Hilda Constance Hustead Rinehart. Betty attended Wallace High School and graduated from St Mary’s School of Nursing in 1973. She worked at Union Protestant Hospital and later became United Hospital Center. Her hobbies were bowling at Compton Lanes, gardening and she adored her pet dogs. Betty is survived by two brothers, Thomas Victor Rinehart Sr. of Stonewood and Robert Rinehart Jr and wife Christina of Quiet Dell; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Neal Gardner on March 24, 2019; five sisters, Mildred Cunningham, Helen Cunningham, Eleanor Shaffer, Lucille Burdine and Merle Knoll; three brothers, William Rinehart, Frankie Rinehart, and Richard A Rinehart. Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg, on Monday, June 17, 2019 from 4-8pm; Funeral Service will be held at Davis Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at 11:00 am with Pastor Fred Aves presiding.
