Barney Lyman Shumate Jr, 66, of Bristol, Virginia passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at his home. He was born in Bristol, VA on March 28, 1953, a son of the late Barney L. Shumate Sr.and Martha Eleanor Davis Shumate. A Celebration of Life Service will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Cumberland Square Park, Bristol, VA.
