He was born on December 15, 1972 to Gwendolyn M. Morris and the late Ashby F. Morris. In addition to his mother, Ashante is survived by his sister, Trentina D. Morris; two aunts, Mary L. Hutcherson and Regina Matthews; two uncles, George Matthews and Minister Gerard Hutcherson and a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Sunday May 19, 2019 at Community Funeral Home Chapel. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home.
