Amy Louise Hughes, age 40, of Cumming, GA., passed away on Sunday, June 23,2019, at her residence. Amy was a member of the Cumming First United Methodist Church where she was involved in the Gentle Souls church program for adults with special needs. She participated in Creative Enterprises Forsyth, Special Olympics and Miracle League Softball. She is survived by her parents, David and Virginia Hughes of Statesboro; her brothers and sister in law, Shawn Hughes of Cumming, Ryan (Alexa) Hughes of Michigan; her sister, Angela Weldon of Florida; many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, 210 Ingram Ave, Cumming, GA 30040 is in charge of arrangements.
