Obituary Alvid Elrod, Jr., 66, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2019. He was born on January 24, 1953 in Long Island, New York the son of the late Alvin Elrod, Sr. and Louise S. Sherred Elrod. He is survived by his wife, Janet M. Elrod; sons, Jarome Elrod, Anthony Elrod, and Damarion Gill; daughters, Jennifer Elrod; adopted children, Aireoina Heard, Amariona Heard and Javon Heard; brothers, David Elrod and Michael (Dontay) Elrod; sisters, Mattie Louise Elrod, Sandra Louise Elrod, Sandra Lee (Nat) Carlisle, Elaine Cooper, Carolyn (Willie) Thompson, Joseph Elrod, Robert (Lucretia) Elrod, Jonathan Elrod and Ramiey Johnson and a host of other relatives and friends.
